This month, we’re highlighting Men’s Health Awareness Month, team growth, and new platform tools at ICON. With “Movember” underway, we encourage everyone to prioritize men’s wellness by sharing resources for learning about preventive health. We’re also thrilled to welcome Caren Taché, who brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the team. Plus, we’ve launched helpful new app features to make credentialing management easier for our providers.
It's Men's Health Awareness Month! ??

Movember is a widely recognized cause today, but have you ever wondered how it all began? The project started in 2003 with two mates in a pub in Australia. They came up with the idea to challenge 30 men to grow mustaches—a rather unusual style at the time—and use the conversation starter as an opportunity to raise awareness for men’s health issues.
Within a year, they had 480 participants and raised $40,851 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA). At the time, this was the largest single donation the PCFA had ever received. Welcome Caren!
Caren Taché joins ICON as a Product Manager, assisting with our IT Infrastructure and Platform enablement.
Caren has over 15 years of experience as a software developer across various industries. She has been involved in all phases of system development—from gathering requirements to coding, testing, and integration. Additionally, she has provided technical support for software products, conducted onsite training for customers, and supported the sales team in their efforts, helping to bridge the gap between technical solutions and client needs.
In recent years, she has concentrated on data analytics, focusing on the design, development, and implementation of databases that support client analytics and operations. She has effectively managed customer data in SQL Server and utilized PHP scripts, alongside various AWS services to ensure data integrity and accessibility. Caren also has experience creating custom reports and analyzing email marketing campaigns, driving targeted efforts to enhance client engagement.
Caren enjoys skiing and playing golf. She also likes spending time at the lake and watching Boston sports with family and friends. We are so glad she has decided to join Team ICON!

Enhancing Provider Documentation Management
Last month, ICON launched new documentation and reporting features within the Credentialing module, now available to help all providers manage their credentialing records efficiently.
The platform automatically identifies the required documentation based on your specific specialty and sends timely reminders 60, 30, 15, and 5 days before any document is set to expire.

While ICON’s credentialing team is proactively uploading these essential documents for our providers, we encourage everyone to use the platform's tools to keep their credentialing records up-to-date and well-organized.
This documentation management functionality is free for all providers, regardless of whether the provider works with ICON, so please make use of this convenient tool for managing and maintaining all credentialing documentation.
