I have worked in various sectors and had the privilege of leading some large high performing teams. I am a Chartered Member of the CIPD, a Chartered Manager, and Prince 2 qualified. With these accreditations comes a wealth of knowledge and professional support which I bring to you. …? You are in safe hands.??

Outside of ‘work’? I am a school governor, trustee for the charity SEDCU who sponsor disadvantaged children in Uganda through their education, keen runner, rubbish amateur gardener and mum to two small humans.??

A New Duty for all Employers

An important duty came into force on 26th October 2024.? It is not surprising when you realise all the current media regarding sexual harassment some dating back many years.??

All employers have a duty to present sexual harassment in the workplace

What does this mean?

CASE STUDY: THRIVE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SERVICES

Thrive Occupational Therapy Services provides an independent occupational therapy service for children and families in Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire and Cambridgeshire. Over the years, the company had built up a bank of associates that it worked with and wanted to onboard them as employees. They also wanted to create policies and procedures that ensured they were compliant with employment legislation.

Working closely with the two company directors, we transitioned ten associates and onboarded them as employees, creating a hybrid model of working.?

We reviewed all existing processes and policies and made sure they were compliant with UK Employment Law.?We created additional policies including Manual Handling, Equality and Diversity and a Ways of Working document.?

We also reintroduced an Absence Policy.?In reviewing all systems and processes, we identified the need for leadership training

?The Benefits

Working with Ena HR & Training has taken the business to another level and enabled it to grow exponentially since we started working with them in.

A clear recruitment and onboarding process that has seen staff numbers increase.

The two directors are much happier and focused and better leaders since

undergoing leadership training and coach with Ena HR, and defining their own individual roles within the business.?

With over 25 years experience working in Human Resources, along with Kate, I provide policy advice, employment law advice, training, HR system management and much more.? I really enjoy working where i can help and develop people, drive positive change and most importantly get great results

I have a family which includes three small humans and to relax i like to read and walk in local countryside.
