November is a month with only 30 days and it’s name derives from the latin root novem - meaning “nine” because in the Roman calendar it was indeed the ninth month. When we think of November, we think about the preparation leading up to Christmas, hot teas, hot chocolates and warm boots on my feet… but we also think about pulling out our winter coat and adding an extra layer to our bed. It’s a month that fills us with lots of excitement when realising that the year is almost over and that a new year is nearly here.
End of year is always a great time to review the things that we’ve achieved and the things that we want to achieve in the following year.

Motivation
We don’t think there has been a more heavily researched field than meditation and mindfulness in the last 5 years. What is it?
Meditation is a mind and body practice that has a long history of use and is believed to have originated in India thousands of years ago but was quickly adopted by neighbouring countries due to the benefits that people experienced from it.?

With so many different types of meditation, there isn’t one type that will help with all of these so it’s important that you try different ones to figure out which ones work best for you.

Health Tips
Ever heard of that saying “Prevention instead of correction”? Well if you haven’t, now you have… Did you know that some diseases don’t show up as symptoms until it is too late… That is why it is sooo important to get regular blood tests for blood sugar, vitamins and minerals, along with urine tests too. More elaborate tests like mammograms (for women) and PAP smear (for women) should be done at the recommended intervals. If the test results are not optimal, that means that you can quickly take corrective action and avoid anything getting worse. If they are great, then that’s fantastic and you can have peace of mind.?
