So, what's?new this month? ??

Elon Musk x Twitter ???? ??

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past months, we've all been aware that Elon Must took control of Twitter in April.?

What did he change exactly?

1. Twitter Blue at $8 per month to get a certified account

2. Laying off 50% of Twitter's workforce

3. The ability to attach a long text to a tweet

4. Improved search on Twitter

5. Content monetization for creators

6. Suspension of impersonating accounts - we've all seen the many, many Elon Musks verified fake accounts ??

7. Forming a Content Moderation Board

8. Twitter as the safest news source in the world

I've heard tons of contradictory points of view about what's happening.

What impressed me the most was that Twitter still survives even with 50% of people out. It's just crazy!

Of course, they probably had one of the strongest SRE teams ever.

What worries me the most is other companies' fate...

On the one hand, you have c-level executives that are shocked and hating on Musk, while on the other hand, some folks are thinking: "hmm, if Twitter can do that, why can't I do the same with my company?"

The same echoes from VC that previously pushed companies to hire crazily and are now asking their company to hire less & fire if needed. And after that horrible wave at Twitter, it will be hard to do worse.

Hence, many companies won't hesitate to lay off their employees firmly.

The best example? Meta laid off 10,000 folks, but everyone is focused on the 7,500 at Twitter.

Remember that Musk artificially built the value of Dogecoin; people could hate him, but he will stay an inspiration for many entrepreneurs.

Also, it's not only a US thing; many well-funded European tech companies hired many people. So, I won't be surprised if similar scenarios were to happen in Europe, US, or Asia.

So, what do you think of Elon Musk taking over Twitter?

App of the month ??

Todoist ?

For this month's app, I've chosen to introduce Todoist.

Todoist makes it easier to manage your tasks thanks to a visual and intuitive interface. The service is aimed at companies of all sizes and freelancers who wish to benefit from a tool to organize themselves better.?

The tool has many features like the ability to list the tasks that must be carried out, organize projects in the form of folders, sections, or columns, sort the projects according to a color code, schedule deadlines, and set up reminders.

Sounds good, doesn't it?
