Energy saving tips?
The Gradient All-Weather 120V window heat pump is designed to help you save on energy costs year-round. Here are some tips to make the most of it:
First, optimize your temperature settings using the comfort control dial to find the ideal balance without overdoing it. The All-Weather 120V is built to deliver efficient heating and cooling, providing effective output for the energy it consumes, whether it's a warm day or a chilly night.?
Checking the unit’s airtight seal is also essential—Gradient’s specialized foam seals keep treated air in and drafts out, making a noticeable difference in efficiency.
Finally, maximize convenience with the smart scheduling feature. Through WiFi, you can schedule the unit to run only when you need it, whether that’s cooling down before bedtime or warming up before your morning routine. This flexible timing reduces overall operation hours and conserves energy.
With these tips, you can make the most of your Gradient All-Weather 120V, keeping your space comfortable and energy-efficient all year long.
ENERGY STAR??
Gradient is proud to partner with ENERGY STAR, an initiative that highlights our commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability. This partnership reinforces our mission to provide eco-friendly heating and cooling solutions, making sustainable comfort more affordable for all.?
ENERGY STAR Products
In 2024, ENERGY STAR certified the cooling mode of the All-Weather 120V Window Heat Pump, making it the most efficient window air conditioner currently listed on their website. It ensures that Gradient's window heat pumps meet rigorous energy efficiency standards, verified through independent testing.?
This not only affirms the product’s superior energy performance but also demonstrates Gradient’s dedication to decarbonizing the built environment.?
For consumers, choosing ENERGY STAR-certified products, like Gradient’s All-Weather 120V window heat pump, means investing in both immediate and long-term savings on energy bills while supporting broader goals of sustainability and environmental responsibility.
In July 2024, ENERGY STAR also published its heating mode (HEER) testing methodology for room air conditioners with a reverse cycle. They are now analyzing HEER data submitted by various window heat pump manufacturers to establish a definitive efficiency specification level.?
Once ENERGY STAR finalizes this efficiency standard for heating mode, Gradient fully expects the All-Weather unit to meet or exceed these requirements as well.
Gradient Updates?
Beta testing
This fall, Gradient launched another round of Beta testing, this time focused on cold climate performance.
The All-Weather 120V window heat pump is built to perform even in extreme cold, operating reliably at temperatures as low as -13°F.
To ensure its performance, we’ve been putting our units to the test in a variety of challenging environments, from the intense New York City winters to the high altitudes of Breckenridge, CO. These rigorous trials ensure reliable performance, no matter where you live.
Whether you’re facing subzero temps or scorching hot summers, this system is built to keep your space comfortable all year long.
Don’t miss your chance to join the Beta program—sign up here and help shape the future of year-round comfort!
