November Market Update

?? Fully remote roles are now few and far between. There is, however, still a strong emphasis on hybrid working, which is the preferred model of working in Switzerland, UK, US and UAE. Employers who choose to keep or increase WFH privileges will have a greater chance of attracting quality jobseekers.

?? In the UK, the job market is showing cautious optimism. Inflation decreased this month, and there has been increased hiring activity recently. This is positive news for employers, and we expect the market conditions to continue to improve in 2024.

?? UAE and Saudi are continuing to see a steady influx of new companies relocating there, which strengthens their positions as thriving business hubs. We have also witnessed employers making hiring decisions with increased speed, reflecting positively on the market and quality of jobseekers.

?? Job growth cooled in the US in October after strong growth in September, but this is expected to pick up again. The Federal Reserve has maintained interest rates, which further confirms that the US economy is on an upwards trajectory.
