1. Good Morning from Daifuku Intralogistics America!
One of our talented Site Managers captured this stunning rainbow gracing our Hobart, Indiana, building yesterday. It’s a beautiful reminder of the bright possibilities that come with a new day!
At Daifuku, we believe in creating vibrant solutions for our clients, just like this rainbow brightens the sky. Here’s to a productive day ahead!
2. President Geshiro North American Trip
We are honored to welcome Hiroshi Geshiro, President and CEO of Daifuku Co., Ltd. from Japan to our Daifuku North America (DNA) locations.
During his visit, he toured the Daifuku Intralogistics America facilities in Bolingbrook, IL (innovation center) and Hobart, IN (manufacturing and expansion). He also toured Daifuku Airport America’s facilities in Boyne City, MI (manufacturing airport baggage handling conveyor systems and AGVs) and in Novi, MI (airport and AGV innovation center and offices).
In addition to facility tours, President Geshiro participated in the DNA monthly Presidents’ Meeting, including all Presidents in North America. He hosted a “Kuruma-za” too, in which he met with representatives from our DNA companies to hear their ideas, suggestions, and thoughts.
President Geshiro concluded his North American trip by visiting our Canadian entities in the Greater Toronto Area that support Daifuku’s automotive business, including Daifuku Manufacturing Canada.

4. Grant Witte | Employee Spotlight
We are thrilled to introduce Grant Witte, our Senior Manager of Project Execution Aftermarket at Daifuku Intralogistics America. Grant leads our dedicated Aftermarket Project Execution team, which provides exceptional service to our clients through system modernizations and upgrades.
This talented team includes Project Managers, Applications Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Controls Engineers, Software Engineers, and Field Service Technicians, all specialized in project execution.
Grant brings a wealth of experience to his role, having successfully led numerous projects in the retail, parcel, and manufacturing industries as a Senior Project Manager. He thrives on the challenges of material handling and takes great satisfaction in solving complex issues. In his current role, Grant fosters increased synergies between departments and leverages the extensive expertise of his team to drive successful solutions.
Outside of work, Grant enjoys spending time with his wife Grace and their two young boys, Henry (2) and Benjamin (3 months).

5. Dora Turkman | Employee of the Month!
Congratulations to Dora Turkmani for being selected as Daifuku Automotive America’s Employee of the Month!
Dora is a Customer Service Coordinator in the Product Sales Department.
She is responsible for answering incoming phone calls, quoting RFQs, and entering sales orders. Dora works closely with other departments such as Shipping, Engineering, and Finance, and our sister companies.
