- The DOT announced the winners of the Small Community Air Service Development (SCASD) grants. See below for more details.

- Filed new Italy service: DFW to Venice (VCE) from June 5 through September 1 and ORD to Naples (NAP) from May 7 through October 24
- Removed ORD to VCE from future schedules.
- Filed Super Bowl flights to MSY from BOS in February.
- Filed BOS winter break flights to MCO, PBI and RSW in February.
- Suspended flights from CAE to ORD from January 8 onward.
- Resumed CMH to LAX service from March onward. They last served the market in April 2020.
- Removed JFK to Tel Aviv, Israel (TLV) from future schedules.
Discover (4Y)/Lufthansa (LH)
- Frankfurt, Germany (FRA) to MSP will swap from Lufthansa to Discover service from May 2025 onward. Lufthansa is expected to return to MSP as fleet constraints ease at the carrier.
- Extended their schedule through August 4, 2025.
- Announced and filed new and resumed service in 13 markets starting in June: BNA to PDX and SFO; BOI to MDW (last served November 2023); BWI to LGB, ONT, PDX (last served August 2019), SFO and SJC (last served August 2020); CHS to MCI (last served September 2022); COS to CUN; GEG to MDW (last served October 2021); HOU to SEA (last served August 2019); and JAX to MCI.

- APAC is very excited for our friends at HSV, MFR and MSO that won their SCASDs!
- 11 out of the 12 winners requested funds to support airline service and all 11 had airline letters of support.
- One winner requested funding for marketing support.
- The grants ranged from $220,000 to $1m.
- Of the 14 winners, there were four Small-Hub airports and ten Non-Hub airports.
- The cash-to-grant ratio ranged from 14% to 300%.
- Letters of support for winners: American four; SkyWest three; Breeze three; United two; Delta one; and Advanced Air/Grand Canyon Airways one.
- Delta wrote a letter of support for the first time in recent years to HSV.
- No states had more than one winner. By region: Northeast 0, Southeast 4, Midwest 4, Southwest 0, Mountain 3, and West 3.
October finished at 101.6% of 2023 levels.
