ATTENTION ALL CORNELL STUDENT STARTUPS!

If you are a Cornell student, either undergraduate or graduate, and would like to spend the summer working on your own business without the worry of financially supporting yourself in a traditional internship setting, we encourage you to apply to the Marla and Barry Beck Entrepreneurship Fellows Program and the Human Spirit Entrepreneurship Fellows Programs to receive a startup stipend!

Successful applicants will show a demonstrated interest and involvement in entrepreneurship activity at Cornell. Along with their entrepreneurial activities, selected Beck and Human Spirit Fellows will exhibit perseverance to move their startup forward and ideally some real business traction. The startups may be for profit or non-profit.

Summer funding up to $5,000 is provided to a student/group of students who present a startup company through the application process ready for intense summer progress. Recipients must plan to spend 90% of their time over the summer working on their startup.? Funding can be used to support the startup as the founders deem appropriate (compensation, prototypes, legal expenses, web development, etc.).

?? Dairy Runway Program

The Dairy Runway Program welcomes food entrepreneurs and dairy innovators with early-stage ideas for value-added dairy products to participate in a free Cornell University-hosted entrepreneurship course focused on initial product concept and customer discovery. In addition to virtual classes, the program includes prototype training and business coaching.

Up to 10 teams will be selected for the cohort and participate in a multi-week virtual course that combines synchronous classes, self-directed online learning, and one-on-one instructor check-ins. Throughout the course, industry experts and food entrepreneurs will discuss product branding, consumer trends, and the challenges of bringing novel products to market.

Participants who successfully complete the course will advance to the program’s kitchen incubator stage to work one-on-one with Cornell Entrepreneurs-in-Residence and to test their product’s formulation with food technicians and dairy specialists.

??Academic Grant Program for Researchers | NVIDIA

The NVIDIA Academic Grant Program supports academic research by providing access to NVIDIA’s cloud, hardware, and software resources. Benefits include research grants, support letters for grant applications, and opportunities for promotion and networking through NVIDIA’s channels.

To qualify, applicants must be full-time faculty at accredited institutions awarding PhDs, and projects must use NVIDIA technology. The program is competitive, with calls for proposals in areas like generative AI, simulation and modeling, data science, graphics and vision, and edge AI. Applications must follow the proposal template and meet all requirements.
