November 2024 Visa Bulletin

We would like to inform you that the Department of State (DOS) has recently released the November 2024 visa bulletin.?

Additionally, USCIS has confirmed that individuals in the US should refer to the Dates for Filing Chart for family-sponsored preference categories and employment-sponsored preference categories when filing their adjustment of status applications. All Chargeability Areas refer to all other countries not specifically listed in the visa bulletin.

FAMILY-BASED CATEGORIES

The following updates took place under the Dates for Filing Chart:

  • The F-2B preference category advanced 11 months to July 1, 2006, for Mexico.
  • The F-3 preference category advanced approximately 10 months to April 22, 2012, for All Chargeability Areas, including China and India.
  • The F-4 preference category advanced approximately 1.5 months to August 1, 2006, for India, and approximately 1 year to July 22, 2007, for the Philippines.?

The following updates took place under the Final Action Dates Chart:

  • The F-1 preference category advanced approximately 1 year and 11 months to November 22, 2004, for Mexico.
  • The F-2A preference category advanced 1 month and 10 days for All Chargeability Areas, including China, India, and the Philippines. Mexico advanced 1 month and 1 week to April 15, 2021.
  • The F-2B preference category advanced approximately 5.5 months to July 1, 2005.
  • The F-3 preference category advanced 2 weeks to April 15, 2010, for All Chargeability Areas, including China, and India. Mexico advanced 2 months to October 22, 2000.
  • The F-4 preference category advanced 1 week to March 8, 2006, for India, and advanced 1 week to March 1, 2001, for Mexico.


EMPLOYMENT-BASED CATEGORIES

Please note there were no changes to the Dates for Filing Chart. The following updates took place under the Final Action Dates Chart:

  • Certain Religious Workers: This employment preference category has been extended until December 20, 2024.? No visas may be issued overseas, or final action taken on adjustment of status cases after midnight on December 19, 2024. Visas issued prior to that date will be valid only until December 19, 2024. All individuals seeking admission in the non-minister special immigration category must be admitted into the US no later than midnight on December 19, 2024.
