They have handled the schedule for CEOs and answered inbound calls from doctors and nurses. This is a great candidate for a role that requires multiple skills. This candidate is looking for at least $22 an hour, temp to hire.

Newsflash – National Employment News Floridians Should Know

The New York Clean Slate Act takes effect November 16th which provides for the automatic sealing of certain criminal convictions after a specified time period. It will also require greater disclosure by employers of criminal history information being considered in connection with hiring or continued employment. (Lexology)

There will possibly be a sharp rise in I-9 audits starting next year. In the last year of the first Trump Administration, there were 12,000 audits as compared to 400 during this year under Biden. (HR Drive)

Two Biden-era rules, white collar overtime and independent contractor status, repeal and replace prior Trump administration regulations with new policy. Depending on how the legal challenges to those rules fare in court will determine how the Trump Administration may respond. (Littler Workplace Policy Institute)

As employers are adopting technology to track workplace productivity and aid in the hiring process, the CFPB’s recent circular raises concerns that these tools, provided by CRAs and used by employers, may effectively generate consumer reports, thus necessitating compliance with FCRA regulations.? Matt Becker thanks for a great article. I am actually on a career trends multi-session webinar and we are talking about the rise of people with portfolio careers (another term for "polyworkers") whether out of necessity or because they have reached a point where they want to focus on their passion not a higher paycheck.
