Building the resilience of energy supplies across the Alliance
Recent high-profile attacks on pipelines, power grids and other infrastructure have underscored the threat that hybrid warfare poses to energy supplies across NATO Nations. A team of NATO STO researchers is working to build resilience to such attacks across the Alliance, with a focus on the Black, Baltic and Arctic Sea regions.

NATO conference explores analytical approaches to defence and deterrence
The NATO STO and NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT) co-hosted the 17th annual?NATO Operations Research and Analysis (OR&A) Conference earlier this month, bringing together decision makers and experts to explore the latest advancements and compare strategies in OR&A. The annual OR&A Conference provides an opportunity for analytical experts to discuss and debate how scientific methods can be leveraged to support the decision-making process in various NATO commands and agencies, and at the national level.
NATO STO Partnership Event highlights opportunities for engagement
The STO held a special event at NATO Headquarters this month to strengthen its relationships with STO Partners. The STO Partnership Event, held on 23 November, brought together Partner Ambassadors and Military Representatives for discussions on what the STO can offer to its partners, and how they fit within the broader NATO Partnership landscape.

? Sign up for the NATO STO Summer School
Join us in Helsinki, Finland next year for the inaugural session of the STO Summer School: a one-week course on sensors and electronics technology. The course will feature lectures on radar, acoustic and CBRN sensing systems, as well as signal and image processing, technology and military applications, among other topics. The course will be held on 8-12 July 2024, and registration will open in March.
