TRAINING NEWS

We hosted an immersive Genevac Hands-on Training session at our Ipswich facility. Select distributors learned about the unique technologies of our Genevac equipment, and their benefits of minimizing sample contamination while maximizing product consistency.

Service hosted a training for?Bartelt and Tegent Scientific! Dennis Kerl, Field Service Training & Projects Engineer, covered lyophilization theory, refrigeration repair methods, preventative maintenance service training and troubleshooting on our VirTis freeze-dryers. After attending, participants can better understand the mechanical side of their freeze-drying equipment and conduct troubleshooting.

EMPLOYEE NEWS

Roger Lee-Smith joined Genevac on the 9th Nov 1998 as design engineer. He progressed his way as a senior Mechanical engineer where he was involved in all major projects, to design and develop the current Genevac portfolio. Roger is an innovator with a wealth of knowledge on vacuum Lab equipment, patents, Low vacuum systems Refrigeration systems, vibration management and more. Currently he also assists customers who require applications support.

Roger has 3 kids and recently welcomed his first grandchild. Outside work he sings with local choral society, sails old gaff rigged boats and spends too much time maintaining his old cottage. His wife is a pastoral lead at their local primary school.??

EXHIBITIONS AND EVENT NEWS

November 27-30, members of ATS Scientific Products attended Andina Pack 2025 powered by Anuga FoodTec in Bogotá, Columbia. Partnered with our distributor, IDEAR Soluciones de Ingeniería S.A.S. , together they showcased their expertise in aseptic fill-finish and integration solutions.

On November 28-December 1, partnered with IWK Verpackungstechnik GmbH and Comecer , we attended CPHI & PMEC India . Hosted in Delhi, India as a team we highlighted our synergistic technologies of all three ATS companies, from aseptic fill-finish technologies to packaging solutions.

During our time at CPHI & PMEC India , a collaborative meeting was held between representatives of ATS Scientific Products and Spinco Biotech . Spinco, one of our leading distributors, met to discuss business volumes versus targets. During the meeting, Spinco was introduced to Kevin Sutherby, President of ATS Scientific Products, and Bob Magnetti, Vice President of Sales.

CHARITABLE NEWS

Gardiner Versus Stone Ridge Food Drive

The 2nd Annual standoff between Gardiner and Stone Ridge took place in the form of a Thanksgiving Food Drive. The goal was to collect and donate the most non-perishable food items, by weight, to local food pantries. Last year, Gardiner swept the competition with 469 pounds of food donated. This year, the winner is Stone Ridge with 388 pounds of food donated to the Rondout Valley Food Pantry in Stone Ridge, NY. Gardiner donated a total of 283 pounds to Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Bloomingburg, NY. The prize for Stone Ridge is the coveted turkey trophy and bragging rights for the year.

LOOKING AHEAD

Join us on Wednesday December 6th for a lyo webinar! Surfactants are commonly used to prevent ice-surface-induced destabilization in protein formulations. In this webinar Jinghan Li, PhD Candidate from University of Minnesota, will review the promising role of Poloxamer 188 as a stabilizer and bulking agent in freeze-dried protein formulations, compared to commonly use polysorbates, PS20 and 80.
