Dear Friends,?

On November 1st,?Mayor Adams and Commissioner Vasan?announced the?launch of HealthyNYC,?a population health agenda for collective and strategic planning, alignment, action and accountability.

HealthyNYC’s overall goal is to increase life expectancy to exceed 83 years by 2030, with gains across racial and ethnic groups. Through HealthyNYC, the City has set ambitious “reach” goals to change health outcomes by targeting the major drivers of overall death, excess death, premature death, and extreme racial inequities.?FPHNYC?is excited to partner with the Health Department to?mobilize?partnerships and?resources to advance the goals of HealthyNYC.?

Continuing with the theme of goals, I'm delighted to share that all ten runners in our?NYC Marathon team. conquered the?26.2-mile course?and crossed the finish line! Thank you to everyone who contributed to our fundraising efforts, making it possible for Team FPHNYC to exceed our fundraising goal!?

As we approach Thanksgiving and the holidays, I?wish you good health and much happiness. Savor?the joy of time with friends and family!?

Warm regards,

Sara Gardner , Chief Executive Officer
