YMCA Peace Week is celebrated the third week of November to recognize the work that happens year-round to build peace in our communities, both inside and outside the YMCA.?At the YMCA, we are committed to doing this work as a healthy community cannot exist without the presence of peace for all.
As part of the Peace Week celebrations, the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka?invites everyone to join one of the many Yoga for Peace classes at your local YMCA Health, Fitness & Aquatics facility.?Classes are free and open to the community. Please see the schedule below for dates and times.

Reminder - Bring Your YMCA Membership Card with Each Visit to our Centres
At our centres, we strive to create a safe and inclusive space for all members of our community. This includes children and youth who may visit our facilities with their families or as part of a program.
By signing in with your membership card, you are not only helping us keep track of who is in the centre, but also ensuring that everyone present is accounted for in case of an emergency.
We understand that sometimes it can be easy to forget your membership card, especially when rushing out the door. That’s why we have staff readily available to assist you if you ever forget yours. Don’t hesitate to ask for help – it takes just a few moments to sign in.
Co-Creating the Community Innovation Council
Join this session to bring your voice to how we should form the first ever Community Innovation Council. We would like to invite you to join us in setting the foundational parameters for the region's first Community Innovation Council.
We are looking for anyone who is interested in fostering a future-thinking community-driven innovation ecosystem, leveraging the outcomes of the Future of Belonging Project.
Date: Wednesday, December 4, 10am-3pm
