6th Birthday Update - Nov 22

Whilst our 6th birthday may have passed quietly by (marked by a burger lunch, before getting back to it!), we launch into our 7th year?in full plates spinning mode??- our happy place!???Most notably with the?signing of FourthCape’s?3rd?new-build project - we?look forward to Project Managing a new JPK Composites 1030 onto the UK 2 handed offshore sailing scene in June 2023, adding to the very smart-looking Vela Roja, which was launched in 2022.?

We are?back at The Ocean Race ,??supporting the expertly managed Team 拉法基 PRB with their shoreside logistics and Team Base set up?kicking off in Alicante in December?and?then?at various stopovers around the 2023 route.??Our Work with the fabulous team MUSTO , continues and in?2023 we?will?again be supporting?their regatta sponsorship activations in Cowes, and onsite at World Sailing 's 'World Cup' events in 2023.?

Our product development pace hasn’t slowed,?the E-BAR??twin rudder adjustable link bar is as popular as ever with Custom bars being produced for larger non-production clients, all E-BARs now featuring an intelligent and fantastic Blink Marine keypad, and a programmable input is possible including the much requested?‘Return to Base Setting’.?

Many will have seen our very flash-looking carbon fibre??Weed-Wand,??which adorn the aft?guard wires?of many twin rudder boats ready to help remove an ever-increasing floating ‘weed’ problem whilst racing offshore.?

In January 2023 we will launch the E-LOG,??a programmable keypad, to record ‘unlogged’ data such as sail changes, helmsman changes or ballast fills/empties allowing crews to augment their instrument data and identify boat status at any given time.????The E-LOG is a USB powered, PC connected hardware device and App to export the recorded data file.

An area we have always focused on is the intersection of technology and sport, and we have been pleased to be testing the innovative MarkSetBot an important part of the development of the ‘Digital Race Course’ which will make best use of competitors’ time afloat, and provide higher quality racing.

We also have a number of?smaller custom product enquiries, which have always been very much ‘US’ - we’ll continue to bring these innovations to life,??turning them into full ‘products’??where we can see a niche. One simple example being our A+T Instruments Ltd mast bracket.?

Besides Clients and Products our IRCRecords platform continues to give ‘normal’ boats the thrill and chance at setting a sailing record, we’ll continue to build the portfolio of record courses this year, alongside the potential establishment of a corrected time 4hr record -?watch this space.??

After the success of the Sun Fast Cup which we ran earlier this year in partnership with Sea Ventures (UK) Ltd we look forward to bringing the Sun Fast fleet back together for a Spring Cup in early 2023 before the major offshore events kick off.?
