NOV receives accreditation from CETOP and BFPA
Rig Technologies
The most advanced rigs and equipment, performing better than anything else, with no surprises.
NOV has recently received accreditation from the Confederation of Technical Partnership (CETOP) and the British Fluid Power Association (BFPA) for its hydraulic training programs, an important milestone.??
"The BFPA sends an external verifier to assess various parts of our training location,” said Mark Burnett, Hydraulic Training Systems Supervisor at NOV. “That may include our hydraulic lab and the equipment we have inside there. They also look at our classrooms and how we deliver our hydraulics training."?
Receiving accreditation means NOV is able to demonstrate to the BFPA that its training programs can deliver high-quality, advanced hydraulic training that meets customer needs. The verification process examines all aspects of the training facilities and curriculum.?
Now that the Montrose location in Scotland is verified, NOV plans to spread accreditation wider across its global training network. This allows customers at any NOV training site to not only receive a certificate of achievement upon completion, but also assurance that they are getting premier, certified training in hydraulics from a leading manufacturer. As Burnett states, "When the customer comes to our location, they not only receive a certificate of achievement but they're also getting high end training and a certificate of competence."?
