Hey ??
Welcome to the second episode of the YCM Insider weekend roundup.
Our goal is to keep you up to date with the happenings in the world of SaaS and to shape your approach to content marketing.
And as we near the end of 2022, we’ve seen SaaS companies make several changes in readiness for 2023. And the next few days are set to follow with news of product acquisitions, revenue milestones, and feature rollouts.
To set you up for a blockbuster 2023, we will be hosting a free Q&A session for our newsletter subscribers on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022.
This is a chance to find answers and insights on areas you’re currently struggling with in content marketing.
With that said, here are the highlights of today's roundup.
Let’s dive in:
SaaS Stories of the Week
It's been almost 3 months since the helpful content update rolled out. A move that was meant to curb AI-generated content with more fluff than value has, in contrast, witnessed the emergence of similar products.
The latest entry to that list is Notion - with an AI content generator that will help writers and marketers churn out their first draft faster.
Like other AI tools, Notion AI, which is currently in Alpha mode, can generate blog posts, emails, content outlines, social media posts, and meeting agendas.?
And there are also less familiar options like Poems, job descriptions, and press releases.
Popular note-taking and task-management tool - Evernote has been acquired by Bending Spoon. The Tech giant signs off with $100 million ARR and 250 million users worldwide.
2 years ago, the Twemex chrome extension was launched.
Its main feature was to automatically mine out an account’s most popular tweet. Founder Groffrey Litt announced recently that Twemex will now be a part of Tweet Hunter (An all-in-one tool for growing your Twitter account)

And to further improve your content marketing knowledge, here are other valuable resources we thought would be helpful:
What I’m Currently Thinking
For most SaaS startups, taking the first step is easy - You can launch a blog, podcast, or YouTube channel in one weekend. But the hardest part is maintaining consistency.
Are you publishing blog posts weekly? How many videos do you have on your YouTube channel since its launch? And when was the last time you recorded a podcast episode?
?Brands that win with content marketing are those that show up every day to get the work done. They stick to a publishing cadence and ensure nothing is skipped.
Tool of the Week
Our entry for the tool of the week is Quuu - A free tool for generating 100’s of content ideas in a few minutes. This tool shows you the content that's currently earning a lot of shares on social media.
This is a perfect way to know what type of content resonates with your audience on social media and understand the latest industry trends.
