Nothings Impossible! (well almost)

A poor lady at her absolute wits end. Her initial contact seemed simply to tell me that I wouldn't be able to help her but we had been highly recommended.

She had tried a number of local Brokers, Financial Advisers and Banks and each and every one had told her that nobody would be able to help.

Over 70. Living in Rented Accommodation. Owned a Property but was letting it rather than occupying it. (A property whose sale was simply not an option for this client. This was an asset she was absolutely resolutely committed to leaving to her family for their futures). A BTL facility in place but coming to an end and the existing lender indicating an unwillingness to continue. Considerable Credit Card and other unsecured debts. Missed payments. Much of clients Income via State Benefits.

Having reached a point where unsecured debt was no longer sustainable, payments being missed and financial pressures consuming everyday life to the point where the clients health was being affected she believed she was asking us to achieve the impossible.

But we did find a solution.

A new facility over 13 years. Fixed for 5 years on an Interest Only Basis. Credit Cards & Unsecured Loans repaid. BTL Repaid. LTV still less than 35%. A solid financial footing restored.

Of course the conversations, the client requirements, the needs wants and discussions around all the above are too detailed to cover. Conversations and understanding of the clients position that others simply didn't bother having.

I`m sure the client wouldn't mind me referencing her as "desperate" for a solution when we met. Now even over 70 she has been able to say to me that "I've got my life back"
