Nothing is Just Black and White

This September Del Foxton will be showcasing her new collection: “Nothing is Just Black and White” as part of the “North End Girls” group art exhibit.

Del Foxton’s inspiration for the collection began in September 2019 when the quiet Bahamian Island where she lives was hit by Hurricane Dorian, destroying her home and art gallery. She and her small island were slowly moving forward when In March of 2020, COVID19 descended upon them and the world, forcing all into isolation. She and others found respite from their busy lifestyles but many are afraid, lonely, anxious, and overwhelmed, as seen in their eyes that peek over their masks. This collection reflects that we all interpret and respond to life’s challenges differently. We are reminded that we need to be mindful of our differences and acknowledge that “Nothing is Just Black and White”.

Del’s artistry will be exhibited at the “Steve Wilson Studio and Art Gallery in the picturesque city of Niagara Falls Canada from September 1st to 26th. She is delighted to join the very talented group of “North End Girls” Michele Taras, MJ Brunet and Milly Tseng. Steve Wilson looks forward to welcoming all to his gallery at 4861 Queen Street.
