“Nothing happens until something moves.”
―?Albert Einstein
A quote that really sums up the different roles in change
?Those who watch
That quote might to some seem provocative. It might read as you physically or vocally need to poke that stone or correct false information that gets tossed around. To some that quote can even cause anguish related to the feeling that they need do more to contribute towards a change that they would appreciate. If you read this and relate, do not worry, you are not alone! How you feel about that quote is due to that you belong to the type of people who watch change, and both truly appreciate and/or despise the view. Without no one who enjoys the effects of change, why should anyone bother at all? ?So, relax and enjoy the ride called life because other people are going to poke that stone and correct/dislike/falsely accuse all the false /correct information. They will make sure it always gets tossed around and you get the pleasure to watch them. (If I where you I would already be on my way to pop some popcorn and let the pleasure of scrolling begin!)
Those who wonder
The quote perhaps can be seen from another perspective. It can seem quite obvious can it not? Well, if people would just stop poking that rock it would not need to move. If it never moves, if we now can be certain that is has, what is the point of all the endless discussions about a rock someone poked? Why do people feel a strong urge to correct information they already know or believe is false? If you can relate you are the amongst those who wonder about change. You might feel the interested to ponder about all the reasons that led up to the change that now have occurred, or you might even wonder how/when or if a change really has happened. Do not worry, other people will spend hours, weeks or even years of their life trying to puzzle out all possible chain reaction. People will spend a huge part of their life believing that they can prove to you that whatever type of object they are poking is worth you time to encourage, watch or perhaps even join them to poke at that object. Do not be surprised if they figure it all out from their poking! They might even be truly right but at the same time their conclusion might even be forgotten before it gets understood by others. (If that is not properly amusing, then I do not understand entertainment at all)

Those who make
The quote “Nothing happens until something moves” as I know immediately and abruptly transform into a challenge to go outside merely to poke all the stones that can be found and poke them harder than no one ever has poked them before and the poking will not stop until I either get bored of the rocks or if I do not get attention, appreciation or some other result I was hoping for. (I believe that scenario might be rather funny to watch and/or wonder about) The five words can even ignite a spark of defiance. Well, watch me correct all the false information that still gets tossed around. Watch me or not. Understand me or not. Be interested of the outcome of my poking and debating, or not! I will promise regardless how you feel, the stones will be moved and the flow of words that travels from my thoughts to spoken or typed words will never cease to end. This I know because I am one of those people who make change happen. Not due to a need of being provocative. It is due to a need to follow my basic instinct! (Well… not fully true. If no one wants to watch me or wonder about what I am doing, then I would feel a little bit ridiculous wandering around poking at rocks…)
Why does this matter?
(I am not sure it actually does, perhaps the understaning can make life and it's constant ongoing change a bit more fun)
We are all unique and our thoughts and reactions are, like it or not, important and right. Altogether, no matter how ridiculous it sounds, creates the whole. Whether you want to watch, understand or make the change do not matter just remember that never by all means do not disturb or ridicule the watchers, the wonderers or the makers. (I did not meant that part about watch me or not… It is an understatement that I would be delighted if you watch me.)
