Your local Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) is the local council of the NSMC. The SMC is comprised of members in the housing industry whose focus is sales and marketing. The SMC strives to connect members and provides a forum to exchange ideas, develop professional skills, give recognition and celebrate successes within the industry. Through innovative educational programs and networking events, the SMC provides valuable tools for sales and marketing professionals resulting in a smarter, stronger home building industry.
If you are a member of my local association, the Building Contractors Association of SW Idaho, I encourage you to join the SMC. If you are a member of a local association that does not have an SMC, you can join the NSMC as a member at large. Or better yet, contact me for help establishing a SMC at your local association.

6 年I wish that my designations (MCSP and CMP) still appeared to be relevant, at least here in the Southern California new home sales industry. Most of the big-builder hiring managers have NO idea what these acronyms stand for--and I'm not referring to what the initials THEMSELVES stand for, but for the dedication, time invested, and the passion and deep belief in our chosen careers. Many times, I've considered completing my submission for my MIRM, but in this stage of my career do I see it wouldn't have mattered anyway had I done so--at least for here in the So. Calif. new home sales marketplace. This Saturday, February 10, 2018, I will celebrate my 31st year in handing out homebuilder housekeys, but still...~No Regrets~
