What is Samification?

It's a user-friendly tool to simplify supplier normalisation, standardisation, or harmonisation (whatever you call it!).? And it will do this quickly and easily, as in, within minutes!

What is Supplier Normalisation? Normalisation is the process of giving company names a common name or grouping. This is helpful for analytics and reporting, as it enables a “helicopter view” of your data. For example, in procurement it could show you how much your client or consumer is buying or how much you are selling to them. Normalisation is particularly useful for departments such as these, where differentiating between legal or financial entities is less important.

Normally this process can take anything from a day to months, so Samification will help accelerate this process.

Our tool is like no other; we use a mixture of technology, automation AND humans. You start by uploading a CSV file with supplier or company names to your personalised dashboard on the website. The power of technology collects this file and sends it to the Samification? data model, where it will be normalised. Your new normalised file will be returned to your dashboard within minutes.

How accurate is this?

We are in the early stages of development, so the normalised data you get back will be good, but not perfect. If your data contains a specific supplier combination we haven’t seen before, the model might not catch it the first time. That’s where our not-so-secret sauce comes in. The TCG team will be working in the background regularly, constantly cleaning and improving the master data. The next time you come back for a refresh, your data will be even better than the time before, or the time before that.

DTX 360, London Recap

Our Founder & MD Susan Walsh had a great start to DTX London 2024 with front row seats to the opening keynote by Derren Brown, Britain's leading physiological illusionist.

Susan's first hosting role for this event was on the Dell Technologies and Intel Corporation roundtable. Assisted by Des O'Connor and Ravi Rabheru, MBA, Susan enjoyed the many great discussions had around the use, governance and security of AI and GenAI.

She then went onto host a Data & AI Panel: From governance to guardrails; Building trust and transparency in AI with Owen Eszeki, Mike Leverington and Tiffany Qiao.

The most common topic throughout was People; people are the key drivers. We can have great tech, but we also need great people.

SIG | ORG, California Recap

Susan Walsh had such a great time at SIG|ORG and made a lot of new friends, as well as reconnecting with others.?There was lots of learning and knowledge sharing and just really great connections being made, she highly recommends the lazy river as a great connecting space!
