Notes from Enrollment Summit

With rising tuition across the nation, many are predicting that enrollment will drop off at many universities that do not  benefit from marquee name recognition. Dr. Allen Meadors, former President/Chancellor of four universities , tends to disagree with this. He believes that if universities/colleges will market their true value to students, they will continue to see solid or growth enrollment. Dr. Meadors has seen freshmen enrollment increase at every university he has served. One university grew by over 100% over ten years and another by nearly 70% in five years, both had been losing enrollment before he arrived. He says it is a matter of knowing how to market your institution and letting potential students know the value that your institution can bring to their lives.
