A Note From @TosBoss

Bookkeeping is not Accounting. It's Operations. It's part of the day to day mundane yet very important systems and processes of every business. I help owners make their operations work so they don't have too.
Good morning,? How was your week?? Mine was great!? I heard something that I don't think I've heard before at TheOfficeSquad; "We've got enough bookkeepers".? What?? OMG, that's amazing.? Don't get me wrong. We're always growing and looking for great squad members. It's just not a crazy search for the impossible at the moment.?
?Here's why.? ?We've hired our Operations Coordinator and are so excited about the possibilities of this new position, and person, within the Squad.?Part of the magic of creating your own company dynamic is you don't have to follow anybody's rules.? ?An Office Manager is not really necessary.? As a matter of fact, the military structure has no Office Managers.? Each department of the squad has it's own "lead".? This is the level where people management and training happens.? If you throw in an Office Manager that thinks they need to "manage" the entire office including all the departments, and the people, it won't go well. We needed someone to coordinate the chaos and assist with all the departments as needed.? Bam - Operations Coordinator.? ? Isn't growing your own company fun??
?Today's brief sounds a lot like #11 Trust your Gut and involves management. Fly by the seat of your pants and create your own structure. You got this.?
?I hope you find value in my message and have a wonderful Sunday. - Dida

Embrace the Chaos: Managing by the Seat of Your Pants
While structure and plans are essential, sometimes you need to trust your instincts and let spontaneity take the lead. Don't be afraid to veer off the conventional path; innovation often springs from the willingness to shake things up. As a small business owner, your gut feelings are your greatest asset. If your intuition tells you it's time for a change, embrace it with open arms.
In a world saturated with conformity, daring to be different is a superpower. Break free from the constraints of a traditional organization chart and create one that mirrors the unique rhythm of your business. Think of it as your own musical composition—each instrument playing a crucial role in harmony. Be the composer of your business symphony, arranging roles and responsibilities in a way that maximizes your team's strengths. Unleash your creativity, and don't hesitate to think outside the box; after all, the most extraordinary melodies are often born from unconventional notes.
So, let the winds of spontaneity carry you to new horizons. Trust your intuitions, and remember that managing by the seat of your pants isn't just a strategy—it's an exhilarating journey where the best discoveries happen.
