The "Not-To-Do" List ??

Hmm, Less stress, More success? Maybe!
Don't get me wrong. I've always been a big fan of to-do lists — I mean, who isn't, right? ??
Growing up, we've always made lists to turn our dreams into reality. Mapping out our dream schools and universities, planning out our dream jobs, finding the perfect place to live, DrEaM BiG, WoRk HaRd, Blah Blah Blah.
I used to have it all planned out 3-5 years ahead! (I know, Crazy, but let's be honest... aren't you, too?) ??
Ok seriously, let's be real and get to the point. All that planning often brought along its buddies: STRESS, ANXIETY, and BURNOUT. Right? ??
Ever feel like your to-do list is like a magical bag that keeps filling up, no matter how much you take out? As we tick off one task, it seems like three more pop up out of nowhere. It's like a never-ending game of whack-a-mole! ??
So, how about a little practice for the next few days? (yeah, another list - but a good one this time)
Let's mix things up and consider NOT just what we should do, but what we should AVOID. How about we take a break for a few days and really focus on our well-being?
Here's the challenge: Make a list of the 5 to 10 things that always seem to distract you, and let's AVOID them like the plague. This could mean:
?? No hitting snooze (I know, it's tempting!)
?? No endless scrolling in the morning (bye-bye, social media rabbit holes!)
?? No dragging yourself to POINTLESS coffee meetings (I MEAN it) ??
?? No email-checking every 15 minutes (we've all been there - this will be the hardest for me ?? )
?? No juggling multiple tasks when you've got something important on your plate
?? No comparing your journey to others' highlight reels on social media ??
?? And definitely no saying "yes" when you really want to scream "no" from the rooftops! ??
Overrated: choosing what to do
Underrated: choosing what NOT to do
Let's simplify, focus on what really lights us up, and give ourselves the gift of time and peace of mind. Who's up for the challenge? ???
You’re all amazing and we’re all trying our best - and that's what matters. ??
