NOSTALGIC MALAYSIA 1992 – BUKIT FRASER

We took my parents fro a drive to Bukit Fraser which is only about a 45 min to 1hr drive from Kuala Lumpur. We stopped at the Gap Resthouse before heading up the last section to the top of the hill. We then visited Ye Olde Smokehouse which is a lovely old colonial style restaurant.

From the top of Fraser’s Hill you get some magnificent views over the jungle clad hills and it is significantly cooler and less humid than down in the city of Kuala Lumpur. 

These photos were captured on a Canon film camera and the negatives subsequently scanned and then post processed in Capture One Pro. The image quality in many cases is poor as many of the negatives were damaged by heat and humidity over time.
