Norway's main seafood exports visualized every week

Undercurrent News has added average weekly export prices and volumes for key Norwegian species like cod, haddock, mackerel, herring and salmon to our data portal.

In addition to total average free on board (FOB) Oslo fresh and frozen prices and volumes of cod, the data is available for key export countries/regions. So, you can track average FOB prices and volumes for frozen cod to the EU, China and the UK.

In addition, the prices portal now has average FOB levels and export volumes for frozen cod fillets.

Then, you can track average FOB prices and volumes for fresh cod and look at the EU in total, as well as Denmark, Poland, and the Netherlands. The portal also has average FOB prices for Arctic cod, which Norway brands as "Skrei". For haddock, you can see average weekly frozen and fresh prices and volumes.

Another new addition to the portal is average Norwegian FOB mackerel and herring prices, using the NSC data. For frozen mackerel, you can review the average totals for under 600-gram mackerel -- the main volume traded -- and over 600g.

Average FOB prices and volumes for under and over 600g mackerel are available to the EU, also. Then, for the benchmark under 600g size, the portal also has data for exports to Japan, South Korea, China, Egypt, Vietnam, Lithuania, Taiwan, the Netherlands and Turkey.

In addition to total average FOB prices and volumes for frozen herring, data for the EU, Egypt, Nigeria, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Poland are available.

The portal also has average FOB price and volume data for frozen herring fillets and sales to the EU and key markets in the bloc, which are Poland, Lithuania,?France, and Germany.

For salmon, the portal also now has the total average fresh FOB prices and volumes, and for key markets such as the EU, UK, China, Japan, the US and South Korea. With fresh fillets, total data is available, in addition to information for sales to the EU, US, Japan, South Korea and the UK.

Finally, average FOB prices are available for frozen salmon and frozen fillets.
