Cancer

Atlanta Liver & Pancreas Surgical Specialists has welcomed Atuhani Burnett, MD, PhD, FACS . Dr. Burnett is a board-certified surgical oncologist with expertise in the surgical management of liver, pancreas and gastrointestinal system tumors. Dr. Giselle Dutcher joined Georgia Cancer Specialists in Atlanta (Center Pointe) and Cumming. Dr. Dutcher is a board-certified physician in internal medicine and medical oncology. More: gacancer.com.

North Atlanta Breast Care in Cumming welcomed Dr. Anthony Scott on Feb. 10. Dr. Scott is a board-certified general surgeon with a specialization in breast surgical oncology and expertise in partial mastectomies and sentinel node biopsies. More: northatlantabreast.com.

Suburban Hematology Oncology Associates welcomed Dr. Sandra Kang, who began seeing patients in Duluth on Feb. 10. Dr. Kang is a board-certified physician in internal medicine, medical oncology, and hematology. She has a special interest in gastrointestinal (GI) and breast cancers.

Northside Hospital Heart Institute continues its expansion with the following new providers:

• Northside Cardiac Surgery: Dr. Alan Winston will see patients at the new Gainesville facility.

• Northside Cardiac Surgery: Dr. Azad Karim will see patients at the new Snellville facility.

• Northside Heart: Dr. Hussein Rayatzadeh is a cardiologist in Woodstock and Canton.
