??Investment €1M in medtech startup IMPLICAN B.V.
Implican, a medical device company, has raised €1 million in a first round of investment. The investment will allow further development of the device and start preclinical and clinical testing. Last but not least, we have Orderli, a Leeuwarden-based start-up that offers an order system for the hospitality industry. They were selected for the world-renowned start-up program Y-Combinator, which only accepts 200 companies out of 20,000 to 30,000 applicants per year. Although they're no longer in the program, they received invaluable expertise and mentorship from Y-Combinator's coaches, who also mentored Airbnb and Uber .
