North State on Fire

With the fire season in full swing earlier than usual....Alpine, Lassen, Plumas and surrounding areas have been at the center of the Governor, Director, Chief Porter, Chief Marshall, Myself and ALL the first responders absolute attention these past few weeks. Law Enforcement Mutual Aid (LEMA) is fully engaged with RMAC III (Sheriff Honea) ensuring Plumas County receives the assets needed during these mandatory evacuations. Note to any and all persons impacted, when receiving a “warning evacuation” be prepared for a MANDATORY Evacuation, as these wind whipped fires will change course in an instant.
