The service focusses on highlighting the unique cultural treasures within North Northamptonshire, whilst working to preserve these amazing assets for future generations and this is the perfect end to what has been a wonderful and very busy year for the team and the dedicated volunteers who work with us. It is fantastic that these facilities, the teams, volunteers and our Head of Service are being recognised at both local and national levels. I want to take this opportunity to once again congratulate every single person who has been involved in this recent success, alongside the continued success of the service area. The hard work never stops and the whole team are already looking towards 2025 and maintaining this excellence.Cllr Helen Howell, Deputy Leader and Executive Member for Sport, Leisure, Culture and Tourism
“I know that teams across the council don’t do the work they do for award recognition - they all love their jobs and are constantly striving to achieve the best outcome for residents and the local area. But in the case of the Culture, Tourism and Heritage team - this determination has been rewarded on both a local and national level and for this I say well done!Jason Smithers, Leader of the Council
