Online shopping is a daily routine for so many of us. But did you know it can also be a powerful way to give back to our community? Easyfundraising is a unique platform that helps you support good causes. It works by donating a percentage of your shopping for groceries, gifts, or essentials, to charities and community groups, at no extra cost to you.?
The UK’s largest charity shopping site, over 8,000 popular retailers are partnered with Easyfundraising, such as Amazon, eBay, Argos, and John Lewis & Partners. Donations are made when you shop online via the Easyfundraising platform. Registered retailers donate a percentage of your purchase to a cause you personally choose, from nationwide charities to local groups, without anything extra added to your bill. To date, over ￡43 million has been raised for good causes, ranging from schools and sports teams to small local charities.?
How to start fundraising
Registering to start raising funds for a cause close to your heart is totally free and really simple. During the sign-up process you choose a cause to support, searching from an extensive list of charities self-registered on the platform. Once signed up, a percentage of your online shopping will be donated to your cause every time you start your online shopping journey via the Easyfundraising website or app. You can also download a browser extension to alert you when a retailer you are browsing offers donations.??
