Normative Approach in the Workspace Sector

Hi, everyone for the last couple of days one thought kept on provoking me and that is the idea of having a decorum in a workspace setup. By workspace, it means working from home and the office. With this thought in mind, I have read a few references from English literature modern-day books, social media, and LinkedIn articles.

What is NORMATIVE in the work atmosphere?

From a gender perspective in the office sector, it means a space where both males and females work together for a project. Now when different genders work together in the same atmosphere then problems can be different but what highlights is that if a solution is the same and at least nonbiased.

Every office has some decorum to follow and have seen in the work from home that even the decorum is the same but be it employer or the employee they tend to miss it.

1. BE KIND -- After the world faced a pandemic being kind and understanding the mental health of the employee is the most important thing. I am no one to talk about mental health and its details but having a peaceful mindset will keep you working with a progressive mindset.
2. RESPECTFUL BEHAVIOUR-- Being respectful is important first being an employer or an employee we all are human with some knowledge so disrespecting each other or insulting or name calling or any such behavior encourages lowly behavior. Instead, work positively. There must be conflict in case of conflict handle it with respect, talk calmly, and understand that prioritizing your work is the most important aspect and handle it accordingly.
3. BALANCING WORK AND PERSONAL LIFE-- Every of us is different from each other and hence we all have responsibilities and responsibilities sometimes are the same and sometimes different so thinking of everyone as being the same is a professional gesture. There should be a closing time and a time from which you start with your work. This remains intact but in work from home setup, it might be a scenario of not being able to maintain.
