A Girl is someone who loves to wear short dresses and sleeveless tops. One day she posted wearing a sleeveless and a skirt picture of her in social media, all of a sudden a flock of sheep filled in her inbox, judging her saying "Why don't you get a laser done? you're so hairy!". Even her friend said, "Oh! The dress looks really pretty. Wait! Haven't you waxed your legs!, if you really want to wear skirt or sleeveless dresses often why don't you get a laser done? All the boys who follows you in social media might find it disgusting". She kept quite for a while and replied, "Body hair is natural, why do you think most of us have dark underarms? when two flaps of skin come into friction, the pigment cells multiplies more in that particular area". Having dark underarms or a raw underarms should be normalized, I don't feel waxing or doing laser is safe it might cause side effects and also hormonal imbalance. Most importantly how they carry themselves is an individuals choice. And also a fact that everyone should have awareness on "Body hair exists for an evolutionary reason and to keep our body warm", having a beard or mustache or eyebrows are same as having hairy legs and dark underarms. There's nothing to feel embarrassed about it. Not every women fights or argues for equal rights, they just need a society without judgemental view. -VISNUPRIYA.
