A couple of weeks ago I lost my Mom. Normally this is news I reserve for my personal social media but I think covid has merged our personal lives with our professional lives while we navigate working remotely via video calls as children, spouses and pets enter our camera space.
Why share something so personal on a professional forum? Multiple colleagues have lost loved ones over the past 4 months. Others have closed the chapter on marriages, personal relationships and careers. This pandemic has us all grieving the loss of someone or something.
