Nordic Ways launches a leisure and innovation training program in Finland, the World’s Happiest Country

Nordic Ways launches a business professional training program in Finland called Nordic Focus. It seeks to merge tourism with educational experiences, providing professionals the opportunity to benefit from Finland's leading innovation and design hubs.

“Tourism and leisure are seamlessly integrated into the learning experience”, remember Roberta Perez, CEO at Nordic Ways.

The program has been developed in collaboration with Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development , Helsinki Partners , and Visit Espoo , seeks to blend tourism with educational experiences. The five-day itinerary includes lectures, workshops, city tours, and business courses, tailored to the participants' interests and expertise. Aalto University also offers program certification upon completion.

The Nordic Focus program was launched in August at an event where Nordic Ways hosted clients, partners and journalists in S?o Paulo. Guests included Heidi Virta, Head of Latin America at Business Finland; Gustavo Cerbasi, financial consultant, professor, speaker and author; Rosely Youssef, Director of Pinup Estratégia; Adrianne Pereira, Director of MCI Brasil; and Fernando D'Jiovanni, from Essêntir Viagens.

"Finns are used to buying second-hand products, and so they value higher-quality products that will last longer and can be sold later, even if the initial investment is higher than disposable products. And I was able to observe, during my vacation with Nordic Ways, that even people with lower purchasing power have this mindset. That's why, even during leisure time, local people and culture have a lot to teach us about living more consciously," says Cerbasi.

Why Finland?

Finland has been named the happiest country in the world for seven consecutive years. In Finland, innovation and design are woven into everyday life. Nordic Ways’ program highlights how happiness and innovation go hand in hand by merging cultural immersion and leisure with advanced technical knowledge.

“With this program, we’re partnering with Finland’s premier educational and tourism institutions to deliver unparalleled insights on innovation,” says Roberta.
