Nordic Interim celebrates 20 years!

Since our start in 2004, we have been part of the development of the Executive Interim Management industry. Today, we are the leading Interim Management provider in the Nordics.

Nordic Interim was founded by Janeric Peterson , Novare , and Odgers Berndtson Sweden.

Janeric, then CEO of the company, describes the beginning as a white paper with an incredible potential: “We had to do everything from scratch, for better or worse. We had no brand, no resources, but still, the business has rolled on pretty well, even though it has taken time. We had patience, perseverance, and a great deal of seriousness.”

Today, as part of Valtus France - Shaping your success, worldwide Group and our global network of Executive Interim Management providers Valtus Alliance , we are supporting our clients worldwide with offices in 24 countries.

Our Managing Partner Cecilia Brinck says: “Together with our fantastic colleagues, Executive Interim Managers, clients and partners, we will continue to strengthen and develop the company and the interim market. We see two clear trends that are strengthening the interim market:

1. Companies and organizations are experiencing an increased pace of change, seeing a greater value in bringing in a person with the right expertise for specific challenges. In the past, the highest demand was for interim CEOs, CFOs, and CHROs, but now we see an equal demand for Program- and Project Managers who can lead time-limited change projects. Management Teams and Boards are increasingly recognizing the value of using Executive Interim Management more widely and in a broader range of areas.
2. More and more senior leaders want a flexible and varied professional life. As a result, the interest in working as an Executive Interim Manager is growing. As more senior leaders choose to work as Interim Managers, we can continuously expand our network according to our client's needs.
