Noordung One - World Premiere

On 21 June 2017 the Slovene startup company Noordung Ltd., which developed a smart and prestigious urban electric bicycle for music lovers, introduced its first generation of electric bicycles named Noordung One at the world premiere on the premises of Aston Martin St. Gallen in Switzerland.

Noordung One is based on the cafe? racer culture and tradition. Our goal was to create a modern day version of the cult cruiser bike and upgrade it to a smart high-tech machine. The result is this unique bike that reinvents the cycling experience and gives you the ride of your life.

At the centre of the bicycle is the innovative boombox, a multifunction device, which in addition to powering the electric motor also enables you to listen to music through your smartphone, charge your smartphone, laptop or other electronic devices and measure air pollution.

The startup company Noordung Ltd. has been developing the electric bicycle for a year and a half now and its development will continue in the future, since the company wants to build its brand foundation based on continuous improvements and innovations to always stay one step ahead of the competition. Our goal is to produce the best urban bicycle in the world. Judging by the first reactions, we think we have succeeded in achieving this goal, even though the whole team thinks there is still plenty of room for improvement.

The Noordung One bicycle builds on exclusivity and prestige, that is why it will be manufactured in smaller series of a few hundred bicycles. Striving to produce a high-end product was an easy decision to make, since we are a team of perfectionists and only the best is good enough for us. A lot of innovations can only be achieved by manual work, which gives the whole product a personality which reflects our passion to strive for excellence.
