Two hundred years after the invention of the bicycle in 1817, urban cycling is becoming the most common form of mass transport. If this trend continues – and all the signs say it will – cycling will become a more popular means of transport than the car in a few years. European and global metropolises from London and Berlin to San Francisco are increasingly constructing a cycling infrastructure that includes modern cycling motorways and daring raised constructions. Although electric cars have gained media attention, the real electrical revolution is happening in the bicycle industry. That is here and now.

We created the Noordung company because we believe that the essence of urban transportation is not just about moving from one point to the other, but about enjoying the journey.

Noordung is a company that solves the problems of urban cycling with a commitment to excellence of designing the user experience and service design. We have created an innovative solution that connects cycling with music and sound.

Noordung invites an angel investor to invest €150,000.00 in the Noordung company evaluated at €1,000,000.00, whereby they get a 15 per cent equity share in the Noordung company. In addition to the financial investment, we also expect active mentorship from the investor and for them to play an advisory role.

The angel investor will, in addition to getting a share in the company and the opportunity to co-create the most innovative brand of urban electric bicycles, get an exclusive pre-production version of the Noordung bicycle with the N-002 serial number. This one-of-a-kind, handmade bicycle will have already received all the upgrades that will be included in the production version of the Noordung bicycle.
