THE NONPROFIT SPARK: INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS DAY

YOUR WEEKLY DIGEST

This week, at Spark Group, we are shining a spotlight on an important day: International Human Rights Day, observed every year on December 10. It marks the anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948.

By joining people around the world in recognition of this day, we affirm the fundamental principles of justice, equality, and dignity for all. For nonprofits in particular, it’s an opportunity to celebrate the progress made towards these principles and recommit to the work still ahead in building a fairer, more just world.

In this week’s edition of Nonprofit Spark, we’re sharing creative ideas for how your organization can mark this important day. Even by simply spotlighting your impact on social justice issues to your networks, you can connect your mission to the broader movement for human rights around the world.

As always, keep scrolling to find our blog, a downloadable resource, and ways to join in on inspiring conversations with nonprofit leaders on LinkedIn. Plus, find a grant opportunity that could help advance your work in the fight for justice and equity.

Happy Reading!
