The Nonprofit Leader Is For...
I write for the emerging leader who is leveling up. I have a particular concern for the person who has skills and moxy, but has been thrown in the deep end. Perhaps you were promoted quickly, or your business grew faster than you'd thought, or the board chose you as CEO. You're no novice, but suddenly you are in charge of far more people, budget or mission than ever before. You aren't scared, but you do feel the change and want to rise to the occasion.
I write for those of you in mission-driven organizations. Historically, that used to be a specific category, but increasingly all ventures are taking on elements of public good. So you may be in a traditional nonprofit, a religious congregation, a socially-minded business or a government agency. Don't let the word "nonprofit" throw you off. You dream big and are pushing to bring good things into being.
I write for the whole person. Humans are multifaceted and complex. Your work, social and home lives are not as bifurcated as some might suggest. This newsletter will touch on all aspects of the life of a leader because whole people are better human beings. You want to be happy and growing in all of your life - sure you want to succeed, but not at the cost of those around you - or yourself.
I write for you because I have been in your shoes and want you to thrive. If you'd like to talk just email me at [email protected] to set up a free time to connect.
