Non-Surgical Interventions for CI or Convergence Insufficiency-Eye-Turn

Amazing progress in under a decade as International Regulations address 3D Binocular stress related 2D adaptations presenting in a wide range of visual deficits under the 2016 WHO ICD-10 heading of "Asthenopia" first linked to over-exposure to standard DSE.

Needless to say, over the last 18 months the majority of the age diverse population are "spending more time on the screen devices during their waking hours than they are sleeping".

This has exponentially increased the reports of blurred or worse double vision symptoms of Computer Vision Syndrome or Screen Fatigue along with other ergonomic repetitive stress injuries from WRULD's (Work Related Upper Limb Disorders) to Muscloskeletal Disorders working from home in far from ideal conditions.

Conventional Vision Therapy (VT) or basic binocular eye-exercises have been the standard response to treatment although, too many are still resorting to "Cosmetic Surgery" to realign their misaligned eyes due to eye-muscle fatigue sustaining convergence and accommodation on the near or close-up all day indoors.

However, as over-exposure to DSE has resulted in a Global Pandemic of non-communicable eye disease, myopia and asthenopia (2016 WHO ICD-10) affecting Public Health this has resulted in "International Accessibility Regulations" for the Validation of websites WCAG 2.1 and ISO 30071.1 DSE Colour Contrast Calibration to mitigate the scale of binocular disruptions presenting across the age diverse global population in the 21st Digital Century.
