The need to learn and adopt new technology is one that is inevitable. Any organization or individual that does not see the benefits of technology will slowly but surely fade away. We need to be equipped to adapt and accept newer technologies and imbibe it to bring the best results.

Similarly, technological advancements in aesthetic medicine are growing rapidly. We are now seeing more and more personalized technological tools that are AI-based. Robotics is also being widely used in the industry. Today, we are able to personalize results for each and every patient because of such technological advancements. Recently, at Tamira, we did a full-fledged workshop for young surgeons to master their skills in aesthetic medicine. Various sessions such as the ‘Masterclass on Total Sculpting’ with Dr.Stephen Mulholland and others were done by leading surgeons in the field, including members with international recognitions. Attendees could learn in-depth about Radio Frequency-Assisted

Liposuction (RFAL) which is a minimally invasive aesthetic procedure that uses heat or thermal energy to tighten loose skin that might have resulted from weight loss. This is the most effective treatment for those who would prefer a non-surgical alternative to tighten their skin. The radiofrequency waves dissolve fat and increase collagen production to produce firmer skin. Witnessing live surgeries gave hands-on real-time experience for the young surgeons.

This workshop with Inmode is a reminder of the importance of practical and real-life learning that goes beyond textbooks and average training. It is important to delve into the subject, adopt new technology and assess the risks and benefits of doing so. It left all the attendees with great learning and adoption of the latest techniques in aesthetic treatment.
