NON-SOLUTION AWARE POWER AUTOMATE INSTANT FLOW TO SOLUTION.

Adding an existing instant flow to a new solution will not work it will not be listed to add .

look below example :

I have created a Manually triggered instant flow outside solution like below

Now if I try to add it in solution

Steps : Solutions >> Click on desired solution name >> Add Existing >> Cloud Flow

As we can see in below image that our recently created student approval flow is not listed.

Reason for this is that we cannot add existing instant flow in solution, Even though we can create a new instant flow in solution but it will be rework and to avoid such a rework we can use workaround as below .

Step 1: Open manually triggered flow in edit mode >> Delete the trigger action >>

Step 2: Add New trigger which will make it as automated cloud flow ( e.g. when an item is created from SharePoint )

Step 3: Save the changes and refresh the solution and add existing flow, Now the student approval will be available in list.

Note: Always try to create flows in solution, it has lots of benefits like, run child flow action is only available in solution aware flows, power virtual agents can only call flows which are in solution and many more.
