Non-Profit Organization is Killing For-Profit Organization

Non-Profit Organizations are meant to provide a service or benefit to the people living in the Community. So the Core Key Purpose of such an organization is to provide a Charitable benefit to the Community.

Profitable Organizations are for the purpose to provide employment opportunities and PROFIT.

This Difference makes the orgazniation define its Core Values, Vision, Mission, Goal, Funding, Target Audience, Ownership, leadership, Staff, Accountability, Culture, and the main utmost important thing is EXEMPTION from all Government TAXES.

Exemption from Taxes makes nonprofit organizations ahead in terms of Financial offering.

These Non-Profit organizations are meant not to compete with any profit organizations. Due to this Financial aspect, it will always be killing the profit-making organizations. A Non-profit organization must only add the operation charges or salaries of the company, while a non-profit will always add profit on Top. So the Major difference we can conclude is that non-Profit organizations are always keen to provide improved Social Aspect of Community by not making MONEY.

In Pakistan, this trend or market segregation of Non-Profit and For-Profit was quite clear. Technology is driven by For-Profit Orgzanitions while non-profit buys technology from these System integrators, Services, or Product company and provide the solution to the community by buying them and hence making a whole Eco-System of the country to breathe and earn.

This helps For-Profit Businesses to hire Employees, bring innovation in market, Bring new business opportunities in market, Help government to pay to more taxes etc. Good Examples are NesPak, FWO, PTCL, Tech Access, Symbia, Comcept, SymCloud and many others. These companies hire handful of employees, Bring technolgoy and new skills in Marktet, Pay Heavy taxes to government.

Recently, these non-profit organizations have entered in commercial business. Which is hurting the soul of BUSINESS. Government needs to review such companies if these public entities are not needed for government then they should be disolved or they need to be in there segments. Companies like: NECOP, Comsats internet services, NRTC and many other government entities are hurting the business. They qoute a hefty prices like other companies at the same time they bring Tax exampsion certificates. So they are directly hitting the business.

This will stop the business of companies whom are working in Pakistan. Government needs to revisit its thoughts.
