Non-invasive Root Canal Treatment for a Complex Radiographic Finding

Non-invasive Root Canal Treatment for a Complex Radiographic Finding

"?? Radiographic Insights ??

?? Key Findings:

  • Continuous coronal prosthesis noted on #24 and #25.
  • Root canal treated tooth (#25) appears within normal limits.
  • A well-defined, non-expansile, hypodense osteolytic lesion observed in the left posterior maxilla involving the periapical alveolar bone of #24, #25, and the MB root of #26 (apical third only). Crestal bone remains intact.
  • Features suggestive of an odontogenic cyst (radicular cyst vs. infected cyst).

?? Additional Observations:

  • Labial cortical plate erosion and subtle sinus floor involvement.
  • Polypoidal soft tissue changes and sinus block in the left maxillary sinus, indicative of rhino-maxillary sinusitis or sino-nasal polyposis.

? Next Steps: Non Invasive Root Canal treatment followed by proper re-call for check up
