The [Non]-Intellectual Weekend

Edition 2.

"You're an angel", I was told at 55 by a 25-year-old.

“I am as diabolic as everyone else. I simply choose to focus on the better parts of me”.

This was part of a conversation with a colleague. She had moved countries, to a new life and a new job. Since the day we exchanged these words, they have never left me.

When you truly listen, are authentic, and respectful, and when you resent binary thinking and embrace your own vulnerabilities, you can have true connections with people.

In business, as in life, habits, mindset, perceptions, and actions charter the way forward.

I regularly write down thoughts in the form of conversation with myself. Often, I draw on an inspiration or event and try to capture that through - what is for me the ultimate form of painting - poetry!
