Today, elastic #adhesives and #sealants are used in many areas of industrial #production and assembly. They combine the advantages of adhesive #bonding and #sealing technology and are used wherever the elasticity and the sealing of a joint are the most important requirements.

We offer a large number of special #products that are non-hazardous and comply with strict directives.

The products that we present to you in this Update have a “white” #safety data sheet and thus do not require special labelling.

?? Flex 310 M FireSeal - Adhesive and sealant with high fire resistance ??

The SMP-based adhesive and sealant is flame-retardant and can withstand #fire for up to 120 minutes. It is tested and classified for all joint structures according to EN 1366-4. The paint-compatible sealant with very low volume shrinkage meets the requirements of the International #Maritime Organisation IMO FTPC Parts 2+5 as well as for rail vehicles in accordance with DIN EN 45545-2 R22/23 HL3. The very low #emissions allow safe indoor #application. It is low-odour and contains no #solvents, #isocyanates or #silicones.

The adhesive and sealant is easy to process. It is resistant to water, aliphatic solvents, #oils, #greases, diluted inorganic acids and alkalis.

FireSeal adheres very well even to powder-coated, painted, galvanised, anodised, chromated and hot-dip galvanised #surfaces. It is suitable for use on metal, many #plastics, concrete, and wood. It can be used for fire barriers and covers, for joints in non-structural components with fire resistance #requirements, connection joints, or for sealing cable ducts, pipe openings, and housings.

??? Flex 310 M HT 220+ - adhesive and sealant with very high temperature-resistance ???

Fast-curing, elastic, high #temperature resistant 1-component #SMP-based adhesive and sealant for tolerance-bridging joints. Viscoplastic, very fast strength build-up, good initial #adhesion, moisture-curing, neutral cross-linking. In the cured state, Flex 310 M HT 220+ can be loaded once for approx. 30 minutes with temperatures up to +220 °C and permanently up to +90 °C. Adheres to a wide variety of surfaces. Free from solvents, halogen, silicone and isocyanate. High resistance to #weathering and ageing. Good resistance to water, aliphatic solvents, oils, greases, diluted inorganic acids and alkalis. The high temperature resistance makes it possible to bond and #seal components, which will be thermal-coated (powder-coated) afterwards.

?? Gasket Maker - permanently elastic special sealant ??

WEICON Gasket Maker is a strong and permanently elastic special sealant that cures with air humidity and practically without shrinkage. #Gasket Maker shows very good adhesion to #steel, #aluminium, glass, ceramic, and many other #materials. Gasket Maker has an excellent temperature, oil and grease resistance, is resistant to #pressure, ageing and UV #radiation and is permanently elastic. The special sealant can be used on #engines and water #pumps, #gears and axles, oil sumps and in many other applications.
