Is non-compliant PPE putting your business at risk?
As non-compliant products continue to fail safety tests, protecting your people with high-quality, accredited PPE is more important than ever.?

?
The legal, economic and human costs??
It’s an employer’s responsibility by law to supply and ensure the use of appropriate PPE. Breaking these regulations can result in hefty fines, and in some cases, prison time.??

The BSIF examined 123 non-member products, assessing their compliance against relevant standards and testing whether they perform as advertised. Tests were also completed on products supplied by BSIF Registered Safety Suppliers, who are committed to only selling certified PPE and trading honestly and ethically.?
?
In light of the shocking test results the, BSIF has warned those in charge of PPE and safety product procurement to be vigilant about substandard products. BSIF CEO, Alan Murray says: “Our latest findings are very concerning and reinforce the importance of only using a BSIF Registered Safety Supplier when procuring PPE and safety equipment.”??
